well ok i duno why i even took this photo lol i kinda hate hearts n stuff… i got this locket because when i was little i always imagined my adult self wearing one lol and i do often end up getting things i no longer want but once wanted:P

but at least i’ve learned a new trick when it comes to self portraits and manual focus.. taking such a photo on auto would really suck, as 9 outta 10 times it would focus on my face not the necklace. so i had to shoot with the manual.. which is hard cuz my face has to be in front of the lens not behind it:P so basically what i did was press the release button half way through and hold it, then slowly move the necklace away from the camera, when it gets in focus the camera would beep and then i’d press the release and yay it worked!

I was like.. should i even upload it at all, it looks very snapshotish, wont fit in my gallery etc… but idk I just did. Didnt do anything special, just sent to a few groups, it got just a few comments and then bang, it showed up in explore, then it got some more attention and moved even higher, currently it’s #6 *scratches head*

Actually my pics have been explored quite a few times before, but mostly my very ancient stuff though. I guess this is the first time it got featured right away after I submitted it.. I’ve had some top 10 pics, but usually they would just slowwwly make their way to the top, which could take like months..
Yesterday I got like 3700 views lol

usually i get like 30 times less than that lol so yea very very shocking, but idk I guess i just got lucky:P

it is so hot that basically i caught myself thinking that im being cooked alive.. once this idea came up in my head, i immediately rejected it.. i mean, me tied up to the grill half naked n all posted on the net.. call me crazy, but im not 100% comfortable with that lol but then i decided to take a few test shots.. just to see if it would work at all….and well, you can figure out the rest..

i hate doing manipulations.. always avoid those as plague.. this one is especially tough with having to fake the the depth of field..im not too happy with how it turned out.. but if it was super realistic guess it would be kinda too disturbing n all:P

Sunday. I love Sundays. That’s the day when I know I won’t be disturbed by anything, stay at home all day long looking like complete crap and not giving two shits about it. So how do I take a selfportrait without disruprting this state of the inner piece that i’ve got going? lmao

i hate summer though. its too friggin hot and i’m too brain dead for doing something even remotely creative today.. so here goes..

12 days ago I started on a project.. well you know, one of those where you take a photo every day?
Since the conventional 365 one is like, a way too huge commitment to me, I’m doing it just for 30 days. I mostly wanted to do it just ‘for me’, I wasn’t even sure if I’d manage, but I’ve decided to take the photos first and edit and maybe upload them here later.. as it’s about basically taking a photo each day, so this is all that really matters.
Most probably I will just start uploading them to my blog on a backdate, don’t feel like spamming my gallery with that crap:P

But well, as for what I did yesterday, I just couldn’t wait to see what it turns out like.. guess you remember the clone pic convo I made not too long ago.. anyways, I came up with a continuation:P

for those who are too lazy to watch, basically they used an iphone in a pro studio instead of a regular camera and results surprisingly weren’t *as* horrible…

So I thought I’d give it a try too:P I couldn’t use my flash light as, obviously, there’s no way to sync the phone and the light, and my contiguous lights suck anyways, so i just took some pix in the kitchen. i retouched them same way i edit my regular stuff and unfortunately, I have to say it was a fail cuz mine dont look even remotely as nice comparing to my regular stuff. but it was interesting to at least try..

so well, the lesson learned today is that you don’t need to own an expensive cam to take good photos. a pro studio lighting kit about 3x times its cost will basically do the trick.

If I could have a superpower.. I would stop the time

okay, and yes, today is another one of those don’t look at me days.. but it’s not really about that today.. well last week i had so many stupid embarrassing moments i thought i could as well express how i feel about it. and i put on the shirt inside out on purpose. That’s not the reason why i’m ashamed though.. i’d say it was something worse:P
