Take a picture every day for a month. Why? For a reason and just cause:P When I started it I had no idea what it’s actually like.. having to take a photo every day. Now I guess I know..

I think it’s a really great way to document your life. like, think about the days passing by and there are times when you don’t do anything productive, so at least you took a photo to remember it by.. and i guess it works best when you are willing to be completely honest about everything and keep it as personal as possible.  obviously, i like to keep alot of things for myself:P so it just doesnt work for me.. it would be cool to do it just for yourself, like a no pressure snapshot log or something strictly for personal things.. cuz no one would really care about stupid crap like my new socks or sth, but I’m too lazy for even that

but when you’re willing to do it publicly, that’s a different deal, as basically you’re under a big pressure. i didn’t take this one too seriously, so it was basically fun most of the time.. but if i did a 365 one.. that would’ve been much much more stressful cuz its more of a deal really, and every photo has to be at least ‘something’ to look at.

it’s distracting too.. i was hoping to manage my time in a way that this thing wouldn’t get in a way.. at times it didnt.. but alot of time it would get too time consuming.. I saved editing part for later, so how people manage to take amazingly creative photos, edit and upload them on time, that is still beyond me..

what i’m happy about though is that basically when i started out i was really afraid that it would just end up being a series of boring repetitive shots on my beloved grey background:P and actually it didn’t.. they all look quite different, so yeah that’s one thing i’m proud of.. what im not proud of is that I kinda wanted to do this thing because i had a huge backlog of some ideas that i just couldn’t get around doing.. so i thought in 30 days i’d def clear that list. and none of those things. i did maybe 1 or 2..the rest is sorta improvised and the list is still there… by the end i decided to just not mess up all the better ideas and do it at my own pace later, as basically I was never too happy with the photos was getting.. it’s hard to come up with a quality photo every day and it does show on mine at least.. sometimes you just feel that it’s not a ‘photo day’, and especially not a self portrait day, sometimes you have too much RL stuff going on to even care and sometimes youre just lazy or feel like crap…

but another awesome part is that these type of projects do change you in a way, hard to even describe how, but some things just don’t feel the same after that..

that said though, i’m soo looking forward to not taking pix every day now! lol:D

wow i did this!!! well 30 it’s not that much, but you know, as for someone like me it’s a pretty damn huge commitment. now who’s gonna edit all that..

and yes, it’s day 30, but i’m pretty sure it’s been 31 days.. nope i didn’t really skip one, the thing is that i live by 25 hour clock… which means i have an extra hour every day, but i have one day less in a month than everyone else.. thats why i said that the moment i wake up till i go to bed only matters in the beginning

I wish I had any kinda clock though to make this photo more interesting.. but it turns out i only have time in my iphone and computers.. and a microwave..ah well then

Clearly, a part of the story was inspired by one of my earlier pictures and the other half obviously by me getting a keyboard.. i didnt feel like doing another one so soon.. but idk the storyline just crept into my head, so here it is then..

well yes i did want to shoot jd stuff… but it turned out that it needed tad more preparations than id expected besides i still need to go get one thing so that everything is perfect.. so yea.. one time when i couldnt fall asleep i got this idea.. i wanted those pix to be as much crappy surveillance cam looking as possible… so i didnt bother editing anything, although the shadow from my cam on the tripod wasnt exactly a part of the plan.. but back then it felt nothing like insomnia, i was just falling asleep already so i didnt caaaare.

heh idk.. i wanted to take a self portrait and a bit conceptual might i add,  but i plan to shoot j&d tomorrow.. as some props are really getting in the way already..so i have to do it asap.. and my mind is kinda already fixated on that so i haven’t gotten around that selfportrait thing.. so i started shooting random things from my ‘environment’ i glad i remembered i had this plasmaball thingie.. and now i realized why they look so awesome on promo pix comparing to what theyre really like.. its all in long exposures.. thats how this smoky effect is created.. wish they were like that for real

well yes today is not a photo day.. i look like hell and i don’t feel like fixing it.. and.. my keyboard now stands where i take my pix usually.. i do intend to move it once the new stand arrives…so yeah.. i actually thought about taking a pic of just plain wall.. like ‘i’m blank’ nothing to look at.. but then decided to add a note..:P enjoy!xD

omg! i got my birthday gift from me today! i was deciding between an additional light and a macro lens and a new keyboard.. and somehow I went with a keyboard

now that i got it tbh i got absolutely no regrets about that choice and i just keep wondering why i on earth haven’t i gotten it sooner? my first keys was a yamaha that was already outdated by the time i bought it…and i bought it many many years ago. its funny how i always pose with guitars n stuff.. actually keyboard has always been my ‘main’ instrument, i think i’m better with keys.. maybe..

and yes it’s a very uncreative ’stock’ photo.. i’ve been glued to it for 6 hours straight, so then i remembered about wanting to take a pic.. so snap there goes, can i play now?

and looks like there will be another ep of J&D coming up.. crap:P

When a photographer runs outta ideas…or feels kinda lazy as in my case:P they experiment with the long exposures thing.. well this is my first time atually

i HATE it when somebody’s hair gets messed up in their lipstick. whenever i see like a dancer or sth i’m like omg just screw the damn choreograohy and pull it out its not like we don’t know that you know that you have a piece of hair stuck in your mouth. so yea, I duno why I just don’t hate that photo…:P maybe i was supposed to photoshop some of it away… (edit: and yes i did!)

and yes, my remote is finally here! i got a version with a receiver thing this time, so the responce is amazing.. i can just press release button behind my back and it will work! so yes im really happy. and stupid. it turns out my old remote still was working.. there is a small switch in the back i duno what it does, but not on off lol so it mustve accidentally switched it to another mode.. so yeah
